So, what is Princess charging extra for now, besides the alternative dining rooms?

They have free ice cream every day in the Horizon Court at 4pm..homemade by Princess and it is awesome..also ice cream is free at dinner in the Dining Room meals each day..If you want Hagen Daz yes there is a charge..sigh..I have yet to Have to pay for ice cream as I love all desserts..Soda is a extra..can get a soda sticker..very reasonable fountain soda..cans are a charge..and you can bring it on board,...;)..Joanne

No charges on any Princess ship room service "other than your added tip!"-:grin..!..:)..Joanne

Yes, room service is free but from the room service menu, and if you order a soda, bottled water or a cocktail you will be charged for them. What is free is on the menu and yes it is nice to give a tip to the person that delivers it. I have purchased milk shakes , and they were so good, but I get the ice cream free in the Horizon court.

Ice cream is not available on all the Princess ships in the afternoon. On the Star Princess in April the maitre'd working the Horizon Court said only at night now, with dinner I presume.
