The Crown Princess will be homeported in Galveston from Dec. 2012 through April, 2013. It will have been over five years since a Princess ship sailed from there ... the Grand in '07. This is great news for those of us who love both Princess and the convenience of the port ... we're 45 minutes away, and most of the people who cruise out of Galveston drive there. It's not the easiest port to reach by air, and the itineraries aren't special. Still, we're partial to Princess and welcome the cruise line back. We've got an upcoming Alaska trip aboard the Golden, and will most assuredly book a future cruise while onboard.
