It appears that Carnival has added an island beach excursion at the Belize port. Has anyone done it, and what was it like?

We did our own . To Calker Cay.
Truly one our favorite spots. For 17.50 RT you can take a watertaxi. A 45 min boat ride.Once you arrive walk right to the split. It`s where the island was split in two be a hurricane in 1961.
Bring your own beach gear. There is a beach bar called the Lazy Lizard. Good snorkeling and swimming.

There are some websites with info on Caye Caulker. Just do a search. I think it'd be better to do the water taxi instead of the ship's tour, but I haven't been to that particular island - just to Rendezvous Cay, which I wouldn't recommend.

We went to Goff's Caye and really enjoyed it. Wish we could have spent more time there. The snorkeling was fantastic!
