here is the deal on the buses. The fare was $2.50 US for me in March. Exact change is encouraged. The place to catch the bus (a van really) was 2 blocks in from the tender dock then 2 or so blocks to the left. Just ask any local if you are going the right way. The bus system runs on "island time" that means the van won't leave until it is full, or close to it. The buses are used primarily by local people going to/from work.Just tell the driver where you want to go and he'll stop when you get there. I took the bus to the Public Beach on 7 mile without any problems. Going to the turtle farm should also be no problem.Have a great cruise and don't let anyone discourage you.
