No I am not advertising, so please do not remove my new message. One of the things I have noticed over the years is that suddenly a ships life is over, and you wish you had some memorabilia or exclusive memento. A fine example is the Blue Lady, all gone now, and soon QE2 will become part of history when it is turned into a garish sideshow in Dubai. I did find a nice memento from the QE2 and put some information on some of the cruise boards, and it was removed as "advertising". What I found was a small children's book, entitled "Farewell Queenie" which was written and developed by a regular Cunard passenger, very personal, and not mass produced. The simple story is very moving, and I just wanted to share this "find" with as many people as I could. Alas, it was removed, so Farewell Queenie, may your Big Red Funnel never be sliced off and replaced with a smoked glass penthouse...
