Okay, I am staying in a Quad cabin on the Valor due to 2 comp cruises and then two 50 % off vouchers we received from Carnival. Only way we could all travel together is to stay in the same room. Makes no sense to me but anyways can you tell me what a Quad Cabin is? I have looked this up on the Valor website and do not see it.

I am not sure what you are asking. First you say you are staying in a quad cabin, then you ask what a quad cabin is. How do you know you are in a quad cabin if you do not know what it is? At any rate, if your question is what is a quad cabin, it is a cabin that sleeps four. Usually two twin beds that can be made into a queen plus one of the following:

1) Two single beds that come out of the ceiling.
2) One single bed that comes out of the ceiling and a single fold out sleeper sofa.
3) A double sleeper sofa.
4) Three beds inside and a hammock on the balcony. Oops, sorry, you said you were in an inside cabin. :)

I hope this answers your question.

Now if you have two comp cruises and two 50% off vouchers, why don't you get two cabins that are next to each other? You might find that having two bathrooms (instead of one) plus the extra room has value.

We tried to get two cabins but the situation is this:

Last July five of us went on the Sensation, got caught in Hurricane Emily. We were unable to stop anywhere so Carnival gave us 50 % off a 5 day cruise.
Then 2 of us then went to go on the Celebration in November and the cruise was cancelled so they gave us 2 comp cruises off a 5 day. The comp cruise is not something we can book and it be set in stone due to if the cruise were to be booked completely they would deny the 2 comp cruise passengers unless they are traveling with paying guests. With all that said we have to stay in the same room so all passengers are considered booked. Plus, the Valor is a 7 day cruise were the 50 % voucher and comp cruises were 5 day. We had to book a Quad cabin because we had no other choice considering we want to go on the Valor.

OK, so you are in a quad. Not the end of the world, but hope all are close friends. There were 4 of us on the Pride this last Feb, in a quad, and we were surprised we did so well. A couple of us went to the spa to shower everyday. The showers there are much nicer anyway. Even on Formal night one of my friends got ready early, gave the rest of us to get ready no problem. Storage for our clothes and belongings was more than adaquate. We actually had a ball, like a week long slumber party. And we were 4 50 year old friends from Jr high celebrating a reunion. Dont spend a lot of time in the cabin anyway. We are doing it again in Sept, have 3 quads booked. Have fun

what type of cabin--inside- oceanview or balcony.

Full sleep sofa is only available in the cat 6E (oceanview) the rest of the sofas are convertibles where the bakc only comes off. Inside cabins do not have sofas.

For 4 in a cabin may I suggest an over the door shoe holder to keep your cabin organized- it was the best thing I packed.

We were told 2 twin and two pull down. Let's see, it's gonna be me, sister, mom and mom's best friend. Problem I see is bathroom and me and my luggage. I always pack alot~change like 3 times a day...gives me a reason to buy new clothes I guess..lol
I know with two in the cabin last year on the Sensation we were good.

4 women in one cabin---yeow now thats rough...lol
suitcases can store under the bed. Hang up as much as possible,

We did 5 to an inside on the Sensation. it was not bad at all. Mostly took showers in the gyn spa area.

But changing 3 times a day woulda been too much for me. I mean I am too busy on a cruise to go back and get dressed again. twice a day is too much for me.
