Question about Carnival Spirit

We are looking at this ship for possible cruise next year. I was reading a few of the reviews and noticed that people were saying they booked their excursions at the desk. We were just on the Glory and we were able to book per funvision. Anyone that has recently been on the Spirit can you tell me if they have funvision? This is a big plus for us. Thanks for any info on this ship.

Hi,
When we sailed in February they did not have this service available on the cabin TV. :(

Hi Sweet pea,
I just booked a March 2004 cruise on the Spirit this afternoon. I liked that there was an extra day to the cruise and that there were four sea days. Have never been on Carnival before but have taken two cruises on Royal Caribbean. Looking forward to seeing a different company and ship. Good luck wioth your planning.

Thanks Ellen,
If we book it'll be the last of Oct. I found that they do a Southern Carrib. then and would love to see those ports. We've only sailed on Carnival and love it. Since you'll be sailing on her first maybe you can give me some pointers when you return. Have a great time. :)

Hey Sweetpea--

I've been on the Spirit four times this year and Funvision was operating with access to Movies and your personal Folio. When I was last on her in June I was advised they would be adding Excursions to the 'menu' within a week or two. So all should be well when you cruise.

I just returned from the Glory today, and the Spirit is still my favorite of the four Carnival ships I have cruised.

Have fun planning!
