Definitely a mini, IMO. You'll need the extra room and you'd have a couch for diaper changes. The reg. balcony cabins don't have a couch, just a single chair. If you do choose the reg. balcony cabins, go for a category BA - they have much larger balconies. Also, get one of those sliding door safety suction cups from Home Depot to keep your toddler safe. Put it at the top of the slider where she can't reach it and then remove it when you leave the ship, saving it for the next cruise!
