MimiSails suggestion is a good one if your toddler is a climber. We have not done a regular balcony so I cannot tell you if it will work,but we took our 3 year old in a minisuite and it worked really well lots of room for us to move around, and the sitting area allowed her a place to play. She is not (nor has never been) a climber so we were okay with a balcony, she followed our rule about not going out on the balcony without a grownup. But I must admit I was nervous. She is now 4 1/2 and we are in a mini on the Grand. she is very excited.J
