Question on ship wreck snorkle

Has anyone done the ship wreck snorkling??? Haven't got much help from the regular board. Carnival has an excursion to snorkle it and a motel too, but want to hear from someone who has done this before I book otherswise I think we'll just take a taxi like last year and chill on the beach and snorkle from shore. Pat

It would help to know which shipwreck on which island you are talking about. There are several. I'm guessing the tour you are talking about involves a boat ride. Those vary in quality as well. So let us know some details--someone out here is sure to have gone on the tour or know something about it.
