Just a note to add to Einsteins post....we have requested the door be unlocked on numerous cruises.  It will definitely sway open & closed with  wind or movement and BANG but a towel works great.  Just roll it up, wrap it around the edge of the door, and wedge it in as you pull it shut. This hold tight even in a storm!
