Well, the tropical storm season Begins June 1 and ends November 30. One never knows what Mother Nature will have on her mind but I would not hesitate to book a cruise in the summer. We have sailed in September and October and never had a problem but we've been lucky. In case of bad weather the ship will head in a different direction and the ship's speed can outrun any hurricaine I've ever heard of. So just be prepared to have an altered itinerary if bad weather is a brewing.As far as a land vacation is concerned, I would rather be on a ship if a hurricaine was coming than in a hotel because the ship can get out of the way....a hotel can not.
