...You don't have to any excursions through Carnival. You can just take a cab to the beach or just walk around. In addition, most islands have "locals" who operate excursions. All at a much lower price...and possibly more interesting to you. I'm sure people who have sailed on the "Destiny" have suggestions....I can't say it strongly enough. Buy travel insurance!
