Went on the repo cruise in May and a friend also on that cruise was back on at the end of August. She said they had the same movies in August that they had in May. It's satelitte TV, so probably can't expect more.
Saw many people with the patch on during our cruise, some boarded the ship with them already on. I get motion sick myself, to the point that I can not ride in the back seat of a car, and never once did I need the meds while on the Dawn. Almost had to use it while tendering in at one of the ports, but luckily did not have to. The Dawn is very smooth, you don't even feel her moving most of the time.
I would let my 7 and 9 year old granddaughters see Bollywood. No worse that the costumes at the regular circus with the trapeze artists.
Don't know how crowded the ship will be in October. This is the first year for these cruises so the ship will probably be full or near full.
We sail the Dawn again for the Oct. 26th cruise. Everyone who sails on this ship seems to love it. Many are going back for 2nd or even 3rd cruises.
