R.I.P. Suer's FIL

Warren is Suer's husband, and he has allowed me to share the sad news that his beloved Father passed away yesterday after a valient fight with illness.

Warren and Suer kept vigilant watch for quite a few weeks. When his Father seemed to be stabilized, they felt it was safe to leave on a cruise. As it happened, however, he took a rapid turn for the worse while they were away, so Warren and Suer made arrangements to leave the ship early and fly home.

Warren, your Dad is at rest now. He survived the ravages of WWII - he has earned his peaceful rest.

I phoned Suer this afternoon and learned that today was the funeral and interment. She hasn't been on the computer since Saturday.
