It never hurts to ask and keep hounding them. Its not like they are going to say "Well this person is such a bother lets buy their ticket back and not let them on the cruise" Its much like buying a car just keep working it untill you think you got the best deal you can. When it comes down to it they will just throw in little extras to keep you happy and always ask to go up the chain of command to the next supervisor. As they say it never hurts to ask, all they can say is no and maybe a yes.
