RC 1 day sale on Vacations to go?

I just got a e-mail from Vacations to go that on Oct.16th Royal Caribbean is letting them discount rooms more. A 6-8 night cruise will be 100.00 off, but only on Oct. 16th. We are looking at booking the RCI Independence cruise for Nov. 23 out of Ft. Lauderdale this week. Does anyone know if this is a legitimate offer? We can probably book tomorrow if this is true. Will RCI website also do this since they say no one can under sale them on cruise costs? I feel better booking with Royal Caribbean if they offer same. Thanks.

Tell them at RCCL about the sale, they usually match it. I booked with Vacations to go on a cruise on the FOS for Nov 30. They gave me on board credits for everyone. RCCL didn't do that that day, but called me 2 days later with that offer. It was too late because I had already booked it.
They are both good to deal with.

They are discounting all their rooms on Oct. 16 depending on the length of the voyage. 3-5 nights get $50 off per stateroom, 6-9 nights get $100 off per stateroom, 10+ nights get $200 off per stateroom. =yeah All agencies will have the "One Day Sale" pricing. Royal Caribbean does this on a regular basis.
