Thanks for the replies to my first post. Now.....if I book with an on line travel agent, do I submit the coupons to the on-line agent or directly to RCCL? Thanks!
Either. I sent it to our TA, but after talking to her later, it seemed that sending it to the cruise line directly is what most people do, and would have been more efficient.
When I cashed in my 25000 royal points for onboard credit, I mailed them directly to the address on the coupon....and it took a couple of days once onboard to see the credit on our account, but that $250.00 sure did help in the "frozen thingy" department....
Last year we recieved $250 each for 25000 credits. This year we recieve a total of $300 for 30000 points. B of A took over the RCI credit card in June. If they changed the reward metho we were not notified. I had to make numerous calls to RCI Visa before I talked to someone that knew anything about the rewards program. Any ideas on the different reward totals?
The RCCL website will have the most up to date point level redemption's. Under Deals and Gifts use the pull down and click on the Royal Caribbean Credit Card. At the very bottom of the list there is an 800 number to call, they will tell you how long until your first points expire and will take your order. I received my last certificate for the $250 on-board credit within 2 weeks, mailed it to my TA and it has already been credited to my on-board account. We don't leave on our cruise until Feb 3.
Also if you have the money and can afford to buy 100 shares of RCCL stock, you will also get an on-board credit for that, it can range from $50 to $250 depending on the length of the cruise, it also includes cruises on Celebrity.
I have included the link http://www.rclinvestor.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=103045&p=irol-shareholderbenefit then look under Shareholder Benefit
