I have done both and like the RCCL ships better. (I don't know about the new Princess ones though) and the Southbound itenerary of the Legend of the seas is better as you get to go the Sitka and the Misty Fjords. However Princess has the permits for college fjord and glacier bay so you get to see those glaciers instead of just the Hubbard on RCCL.First time I recommend Princess as they do the glaciers. Next time do the legend southbound or the Vision vancouver to Vancouver.
