Cruising March 12, wondering about size of balcony on Baja deck, BD room. Standing room only or what? 1ST cruise, just curious!

Don't know if this is accurate or not, but the Princess rep I spoke with gave me these dimensions:

Aloha & Baja Decks - 6'7" x 3'11"

Caribe Deck - 8'10" x 8'6"

:)

Welcome Aboard the P@N@M@ Coral Princess cruise. We have a group of @ddicts onboard so hopefully we can meet up. :thumb Lady Jag has posted some good info on the balconies and the dimensions seem to vary a bit depending on the locale.

Well, what ya gonna do?? We are, where we are, and will be happy with (most) anything! I was going to try to change, but just said forgetaboutit! Do you think there will there be chairs on the balcony or no? Thanks for the help, like I said, we are new to all this, one more thing, what is sail-away?

Just returned from the Coral Princess and we were in D309. The balcony had 2 chairs and a large round table. I thought the balcony was large enough for 2 people, unless you're planning on sleeping there. I never worry about the size of the balcony, as long as I have one. It was covered, so we had some shade in the afternoon.

Sail Away is a term used for when the ship sails away from port. Usually they have Sail Away parties so that is commonly where the words Sail Away are used. :)

The balcony we had in the bump out, mid ships on the Coral A435 was great about 6x3 just right for 2.

MY TA CALLED AND TOLD ME I CAN GET TWO CABINS E711 AND E717. THIS IS OUR FIRST CRUISE EVER, AND WE ARE GOING TO ALASKA IN MAY 04 I WANTED AN INSIDE CABIN FOR MY TEENAGERS AND A BALCONY CABIN FOR MY HUSBAND AND I. ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE APPREICIATED ON THE EMERALD DECK. .

Take the balcony cabins if possible. If you don't your boys won't leave your room. The views are unbelievable. It's a journey they won't forget.

Here's my take on Coral's regular balconies...if you like the shower, you'll LOVE the balcony! They were both very small, but they both served their purpose.

I still have to look at the Princess book to find out about port, aft, stern, and all the other boat lingo, but I'm learning! We really can't wait for March 12th! It's all new to us and everything sounds great. Thank God for these message boards, they really help with information! Only 26 days to go!!

"Boat lingo?" Okay - here's the first lesson: don't call it a "boat". :lol :lol :lol It's a ship! :lol :lol Here's to a short countdown to your cruise! :cheers
