plkease note beginning today new currency is in effect in Turkey. YTL.
1 USD is equals to. 1.40 ytl now.
Although new currency is in use for one year the old currency Tl will be still used.
all the transcantions etc will be YTL for invoicing visa etc.
please be sure that they do not put 6 zeoes to your visa spendings.according to old rule otherwise yopu willbe billed 1 million times more.
this is confusing but easiest way is to take off 6 zeroes off from old lira.
anyhow both curriency willbe shown on pricetags for one year.
