Leaving in less than a month out of Jax for bahama trip- can anyone tell me if they have finished the serenity area (adults only) and waterworks for the kids? i have seen a few updates but cannot get clarification on the pool areas. also, if you have recently sailed- are the pools warm enough to get in?

I haven't been on Fascination for quite a while.

According to cruisedeckplans.com she was last in dry dock in October of 2006. Not sure how accurate that is but here's what it says.

Renovations completed by 10/09/06:

All guest staterooms and suites will be refurbished to include completely remodeled bathrooms, new décor (carpeting/drapes/linens), the Carnival Comfort Bed and flat panel TV’s.
New nine-hole miniature golf course on Sun Deck.
New Teen Club (Club O2) on Promenade Deck.
1,600 square foot Children’s World play area located on Verandah Deck
Layout modifications and cosmetic upgrades that include carpeting and upholstery will be done in various pubic lounges including the aft lounge, the main lounge and the casino.
New art gallery on Empress Deck.
New Atrium Lobby Bar will be installed on Empress Deck with space for a trio to play.
New 1,200 square foot conference room on Promenade Deck.
New Café on the Way offering specialty coffees and sweets on the Promenade Deck.
New photo gallery on the Promenade Deck Atrium.
Redesigned Internet Café will be located adjacent to the Purser’s Information Desk on Empress Deck
The 12,000 square foot Spa Carnival facility will be renovated with new private treatment rooms, updated exercise equipment and a host of cosmetic enhancements.
A poolside stage will be relocated to a covered area on Lido Deck.
An enclosed netted basketball court will be installed adjacent to the aft pool on Verandah Deck.

we are sailing on the Fascination also on 4/4. From what I've read, they have added the waterslide but the Fascination does not have the serenity deck. Shame too, I liked it on the Inspiration.

The Carnival website does not indicate that the Fascination has been upgraded ...
