Couple questions.

Was there a seperate line if you had your Fun Pass completed at check in?

Dock or tender in St. Maarten?

Do they alter dinner time for the San Juan arrival?

Was the dome over the aft pool open or closed?

Will I have a good time? Just kidding!!

Funpass filled out-- is a tad faster then a regular line because the people who dont do their funpass--all that information now needs to be keyed in by the check in clerk. Although the line for funpass might seem bigger it will move a lot quicker then the shorter line for non fun pass people.

Dock in St MArten

No-- dinner time is the same in San Jaun. Since we had early seating we stayed on the ship-- ate dinner then headed out.

=yeah I never noticed a dome over the aft pool. We were always at the main pool. Just went aft for pizza. We enjoy the raz mataz of the main pool! One thing-we are platinum, and if you are, be sure to show your SS card and they'll put you right thru the line into a seperate room and you're sent right on the ship.

I just remembered this re: dinner times in San Juan. We got off the ship when it docked, but didn't have any excursions planned. We had been there before. We strolled around, did a little bit of shopping, stopped at Carlos and Charlie's for a drink. You cannot sit at a table at C&C unless you order a meal so we came back to the ship about 8pm. I was all for taking a shower, changing and hitting the bar with a stop at dinner buffet but my DH and our friiends insisted we go to the dining room for dinner. It is almost "open seating" since a lot of people are on shore and we were not shown to our regular table, but a table with another couple and her mother and it was a nice chance to meet some people. Also, I can't remember what the meal was: I think prime rib or steak, but it was the BEST of the dinners all week. Go figure...we would have probably paid a fortune at C&C for a meal that wasn't half as good and missed out on this delicious dinner altogether if we had gone to the buffet. So something to think about when planning your excursions. Ask the maitre d' the latest they will accomodate you.

We ate first cause we had early seating then went for a stroll along the fort and in town to shop. We wished we would have taken the horse and carriage ride to the other side we could have seen more. Loads of shop and there's a nice place in the shopping area, a plaza, fun to just people watch and rest your feet. It's really charming with the tiny winding road, cobble stone. It was beautiful to see the ship from shore all lite up. On our cruises the only tiem the dome has been up ws when it was raining. We loved that ship the decor was less over the top. You will love it, Pat

Yes, it's a beautiful ship and very easy to find your way around. Only thing I noticed is that they don't have hand sanitizers anywhere on the ship and this is really surprising. The deli is open 11am-11pm. The sandwiches are very good. The turkey was my favorite! You'll have a great cruise!

We really enjoyed our first cruise on the Victory last month. We dined in San Juan at a little mexican place and it was very good.

The dome was closed most days over the aft pool because it was so windy. Our last day at sea a chair flew off the upper deck and landed 4 decks down. That day the seas were listed at 14-18'!
