Just back from cruising the Dawn 2/27. You are going to love this ship! We went on the kayak trip to Indian River in Port Canaveral and it was a great kayak trip. Not a race so good for first timers and older folk-and kids, lots of wildlife and a great area. Also did snorkeling Athol Island in Nassau. Only experienced Snorkel people should go. The sea was not calm and this is from a boat so you jump in. Easy to get back on the boat and the dive-in staff was the best. If you've snorked some, a good experience.
I hope you get on the private island. On my cruise it was cancelled and we ended up in Freeport instead. I just stayed on the Dawn-she is so beautiful and so much to do, it turned out fine..
