Redeployment of Grand Princess this summer Med"s out !!

Hi just got ward that the Grand Princess will be staying in the Caribbean this coming summer . The Med is out . I new princess having 2 ships in the Med this year was to much . We are looking in to booking her for late june or as back to back cruises with the Zuiderdam witch we are booked on in august . Great news . But not if you were booked on her in the Med.

The best prices for the Grand are for now thru May. There are still some ok prices for June. I got a flyer from Princess in the mail the other day, we called and booked for May.

Yep...we were originally on RCCL Enchantment for 5/11 sailing but switched to the Grand..phenominal pricing...we ended up in a full SUITE for less that $80 more each than we were paying for standard balcony room on Enchantment

So what did you pay for your cruise? I called on a July cruise and they seem to have no deals. $1299 a person without air for a balcony.

The deals are from now until the end of May. A balcony cabin starts at $699.00 for those dates.

So far, for the June 1 sailing, we are at about $1058.00 for an AA minisuite. This includes everything but insurance. We paid a couple hundred dollars more last May 19th for an AB. Plus, I think prices are going to drop soon for our sailing.

I like those $100 a day prices for a balcony. I suspect as we get closer to July, rates may drop. I am going on the Star Princess in 2 weeks and got a Cat BB (aft cabin)balcony for $850 a person.
