Many many years ago I worked in Salt Lake City at a typographers, the largest one west of the Mississippi, as one of the owners liked to say. They had a typesetter machine that was named Kate, and of course, the 2nd one was named DupliKate. When they got a 3rd, it was TripliKate.

When they got a 4th typesetter, I suggested they name it "FourniKate" and though they laughed a lot about it, the Mormon owners didn't think it was a good idea.

So funny, Glo...those are some good fitting names :)

When you spend the day with robots, you do get to know them quite well :) .....we had some good names that I can't mention here. But then there was "Henry" and "Charlotte". We loved Charlotte, because she would break down occasionally and we were all sent home!!!

ha ha... when we had a copier that would break down all the time, we would put up a sign that said it was ON THE PILL, meaning it wasn't reproducing. Everyone knew what it meant!
