When you think of Bermuda do you imagine spending your days active in the sun or just wading in the water on a beautiful beach? Whatever you prefer, Holland America Line has a perfect experience for you. GET ACTIVE The Island Kayak & Secluded Beach tour is an award-winning excursion. The tour explores Bermuda’s diverse eco-systems above and below the ocean’s surface. You’ll use a sit-on-top double kayak and head off on a guided and narrated shoreline tour. Take in the views of the rocky coastline, uninhabited islands and secluded beaches as you paddle along. Your guide will point out interesting plant species and Bermuda locals like egrets and herons. The water is clear enough to also watch the fish, coral and turtles below the surface. The Railway Bike & Beach tour is a combination tour that is ideal for the active visitor. You’ll get some exercise and then take a well-deserved beach break after. First you’ll head to Somerset Island, located at the rural West End of Bermuda. You’ll gear up and hop on a Trek mountain bike and begin a guided cycle tour along the original Bermuda Railway Trail. This 5- to 8- mile ride will stop at various points of interests and feature spectacular views of stunning seascapes, lush gardens and exotic plants.
