Hate to keep asking but now that I know that tea is served on an" at sea" day ,it occurs to me that reservations must be required since the Olympic dining room is rather small.Does anyone know?

I think the "tea" in the Olympic is invitation only. Usually for suite passengers and elite CC members.

Oh! I thought it was for everyone! I knew the people in suites were given the option of having it served in their rooms. Now I want to know!

The suite people were invited for afternoon tea at the specialty resturant, and no, you don't have the option of having it served in your suite, but since you are in Suite, every afternoon, there is a trolley that contained a lot of goody for you to choose from.

We were on the Horizon in January, 2004 on an eleven day cruise. Each day, they had "tea" in the buffet restaurant area between 4 and 5 pm. The tea consisted of small sandwiches, desserts, fruit and the usual beverages. You served yourself going through the buffet line.
On one day, they had a "grand tea" in the main dining room between 4 and 5 pm. In this case, tuxedoed waitspeople, with white gloves, served tea sandwiches and tea. In addition, they wheeled around huge dessert carts with lots of vey nice desserts and fresh fruit. It is kind of neat watching someone pick up a discarded toothpick using tongs while wearing white gloves.
I was led to believe these amenities were common for all Celebrity ships. I suspect there are extra perks for suite occupants just as there are for Captain's Club members. However, the daily teas were open to all.
Les.
