Hi guys, today was my last day at work, I'm retired now, don't have to go to bed at 9, get up at 4:50 an drive 17 miles to start work at 6. Gee, won't know what to do past 9 p.m. now....
Lol! Congratulations! I just retired, last year… what’s work? I do like the lack of deadlines though I get up and go to bed pretty regularly despite no rush. Summer isn’t as precious as it used to be though. I find I need to set a daily goal or the day slips by. I enjoy the structure of a couple of days with art classes and exercise so that I can really relax on the days in between. We are spinning our wheels to get more travelling done and hope the post Covid catch up creating travel crowds eases a bit for trips starting later this year.Hi guys, today was my last day at work, I'm retired now, don't have to go to bed at 9, get up at 4:50 an drive 17 miles to start work at 6. I should have said that the classes don’t run during July and August and without a cottage or travel and too much heat, I have to start rethinking summers and discipline myself to make the time more fulfilling.Lol! So what will you do to celebrate on your first free work day!? Plans?
Hi, well have noticed beside the driveway, there's lots of leaves in the rocks that need to be raked up, tried usin the cordless vaccum cleaner, but it didn't work to good, so will have to ask the neighbor to borrow the leaf blower. Did go to bed last night at 9:15Lol! Congratulations! I just retired, last year… what’s work? I do like the lack of deadlines though I get up and go to bed pretty regularly despite no rush. Congrats on your retirement!!! Thought of retiring in 2019- the Pandemic hit and it changed my life so I keep on working-things could be worse- am fortunate that i like my job and love the company I work for (the added perks of great seats for the Cavs, Guardians and concerts!!!) along w/ free medical coverage are a big bonus as well- so have a glass of bubbly on me!!!!Hi guys, today was my last day at work, I'm retired now, don't have to go to bed at 9, get up at 4:50 an drive 17 miles to start work at 6.
