So, so sad to see the pictures of the fires on Maui. I remember that old banyan tree in Lahaina, Lee, and our cruise around the islands a number of years back. That cruise ended up in Vancouver so our flight home was much briefer than our flight to Honolulu at the start of our vacation. Our time in Vancouver also helped me convince Rita that we should go to Alaska, which we did a few years later.Glad to see that the voters in Ohio defeated the Republican effort to make it more difficult for voters to amend the state constitution. Weather here, at the moment, is pretty nice with temps in the low to mid 80s, but we are again under a flood watch from about 6pm until sometime Friday morning.
