This was the sky when I looked outside a little after 7 this morning, the pic doesn't do it justice it was so red the sky & the air looked like it was on fire. Haven't seen a sky like that in ages.
Dave, lot's of sickness going around lately it seems, good for your nephew to send the guy home rather than make other people around him sick too. No, to the gym, tummy is ok now but just can't seem to get a break long enough to go.
Kathie, sounds like a nice dinner out for you & Art, it's unusual here for a restaurant to be closed on Tues, as you mentioned most of them close on Monday if they close at all.
Lee, good luck on the basement remodel/remodel, I hope the guy who didn't listen to Gail in the first place is supplying the coffee & donuts this morning!
Mike, I had a dish of ice cream last night to go with your cake, didn't want you to snack alone. wow, wish I weighed the same as I did 30 yrs ago even if I were a couple inches shorter!
Nephew never made it yesterday, he did FINALLY call me about 7:45 to tell me he was in N.W. Florida helping his boss prep for the hurricane. Would have been nice to get that call about 3 hours earlier & I could have gone to the potluck dinner at the clubhouse instead of staying home waiting to see if he was going to show.
I will give him another chance since he did at least call, but that's it. I also watched a couple You tube videos so I'm going to try changing out the bathroom faucet myself. It "seems" pretty straight forward & the one that's on there is that old that it should be hard to loosen the nuts to get it off, going to give it a try anyhow.
Change in plans for today, Pamela & I were going to take food to Leila after church & then go out to lunch, but Leila needed a ride to her doctor appt. so we will be doing that instead. If we get out of church in time we will grab a quick bite, if not we may do a drive thru & eat on the way.
I'm smelling her taco casserole in the oven so better go take a peek at that, enjoy the day all!
