I feel happy and pleased that you are safely in your Florida home, for the next couple of months, Lee. That's one long drive I wouldn't even attempt anymore. Damn KC, you and counter-top microwaves do not seem to be getting along. I've never run into anyone with that string of bad luck. I thank you for explaining that those portable AC units do come with a "sleeve" so they can vent properly. Those gadgets do sound dandy. One last question about them; Are they heavy, or could you easily put them in a vehicle to take them somewhere else?
