Hansel crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 1:45 this afternoon, his Mama held him as he passed, Aunt Karen stroked his his head & Aunt Barb bravely watched from a chair.  This is the first time she's had to see a pet pass.  Hansel had a lovely morning with his Mom & Aunts, Aunt Barb drove him around in her van, he went to the park, ate Burger King breakfast sandwiches.  Then went to another park & barked at the ducks, then to Aunt Karen's house to say goodbye to Ginger & Aunt Barb's house to say goodbye to her cat Spot.  By the time we got back to his house you could tell it took a lot out of him so he got lots of hugs & cuddles until time to leave for the vets.  Aunt Barb had planned to wait in the car but changed her mind & came inside, we know that took a lot for her.  He was greatly loved by all 3 of us & will be greatly missed.  I buried him in Jane's front yard right in front of the chairs we sit in when I am mowing the yard, he always loved being outside with us.
