My family just got back from the 8/9 sailing on the Glory. This was our 5th Carnival cruise and 7th total. We believe this was the best yet! The ship is beautiful and the ports of call on the eastern route are great. I would not recommend the Atlantis tour however that they offer on the ship--get your own cab, go to the hotel and take the tour or walk around on your own--their tour is $45 per and not worth it---you can do the same tour much cheaper on your on. I too am a big believer in CD John Heald--we had read on these websites that he was the CD on the Glory. When we arrived and he was not there...we were displeased. However, we gave the CD, Greg Kneale a chance and we discovered that John has a close second. This guy too has a Bristish accent and in fact does the Bedtime Story, which is John's trademark for the cruise. Greg is not John, but he's darn close and very funny as well. The food was great and the sit down breakfast is well worth taking in. We had a great time and look forward to the next cruise!
