Thank you for your review! I did find it very helpful as we are booked on the Spirit 3/2006!!

I do have a few questions if you don't mind!

You said that you found the cabins small. I see that you have cruised 6 times and I would like to know what lines you have cruised for comparison. We have done CCL, RCCL and Princess with all cabins being in the same 'class' and found Princess being the smallest, RCCL the next and Carnival having the largest cabin with a very nice sized bathroom. Also, did the cabins have 'in room movies' and if not, what did NCL offer for viewing in the cabins? Was there a fridge, coffee maker, or toiletries in the cabin?

I was very happy to hear they have nice pools ( a definate plus to us!!) and that the food was okay. I also don't plan on visiting any restaurants that have a service charge. I was very excited to hear that NCL offered excellent service and that the food was pretty good. Did you happen to see if they offered an internet cafe or coffee shop? Did you or have you heard how the spa prices rate on this ship? Did your son attend any kids program (doubt it if he was 6'4" but I had to ask!!)

Thank you so much for your input! I have had a bugger of a time trying to find this kind of info out! Nan

All of our cruises have been Carnival except this last one.
And yes they do play in room movies and good ones at that(they actually had a big selection) They also have a movie theater too. I didn't goto it but heard it was nice.
They do have an INTERNET cafe and I don't know about the coffee shop(don't drink it)
They also have a coffee maker in the room no fridge(there's barely enough room for 2 people and suit cases)
On spa prices I like to wait until they offer specials which NCL did offer many.
My son went to the teen disco but the kids were really young so he stuck to shooting hoops.
The one thing I forgot to tell you is they have "theme" nights on the freestyle dinning like on night it was presidents dinner(it's kinds neat)and they make certain dishes after the presidents.
I am going to post pictures today.
Have fun and of anyone goes to Windows dinning room please tell "Marky Mark" that Trish&Jimbo from Tampa said hey mun(he is from Jamaica) ;)

Thanks Trish! You have been great help!

Most important to us is a smaller, quiet ship and this sounds about right. Our favorite ship was the Inspiration, which was also our first cruise. Ever since, the ships we have sailed have been bigger and bigger and we are in that small minority that likes small ship atmosphere, and a little more mellow ports of call. Thanks again!!
