Since the Rhapsody of the Seas doesn't dock in Key West until about 3:00 pm, what is there to do? Is there still enough time to see Hemingway's House? Thanks for the help.
You can see Hemingway's house in about 2 hours, plus I'd allow about 15 minutes each way to get there from the cruise dock in a cab. (Won't take that long in the cab itself, but just to be safe...) That should also leave you time to go to Mallory Square and see the vendors and musicians and possibly a sunset, depending on when your ship departs.
The first link below is info on Key West; the second is info on the Hemingway House and Museum (hours are 9 to 5). Check out the cats when you visit - some are descended from his cats when he lived there. I really enjoyed the tour, and would even go again. It's also not too far from the lighthouse - you might could do both.
