Roatan snorkeling

We are going on the Carnival Paradise in April and was wondering what type of snorkeling excursions are available. Have read that you can take a taxi to West Beach and snorkel off the beach, is this possible? What are the costs involved?

We had friends that took a cab to West End, did some shopping then did some beach stuff including snorkeling ... they said it was great! Don't know what it cost! The driver for our excursion said that was the best thing to do, so I encourage you to go for it!

Thanks for the info. I noticed that you have been on the Carnival Paradise three times. Is there any helpful hints you can tell us about the ship, this is our first time with Carnival and on the Paradise. Thank you.

I'm going on this cruise 11/2 and can't wait. I have been to every port except Roatan, so for that I booked a private island, snorkel, lunch, beach etc. Belize I am doing shark ray alley again (was great the 1st time). So far I havn't found anyone else on this cruise.

we loved going to the sante wellness centre and day spa, we got massages and snorkled and kayaked and we were fed lunch of fresh caught local fish and transportation was provided along with a short tour of some of the island, they have a websight and we loved that day sooo much, maybe the best of a 10 day cruise very safe and private
