Robe question

Reading below in a post, someone said that RCI is no longer giving the robes to Diamond members. Is this true?

We are Diamond Plus and have always had the robes in our cabin in the past.

Has anyone cruised recently that would know?

Thanks...

You should be able to get a robe just for the asking. I think it varies on the ships as far as whether they have it ready in the cabin for you. If you don't see one - just ask. I've never had a problem and I'm not diamond plus.

Edited to add: The last RCCL cruise was in September and they were still giving out robes for the asking.

Maureen, I was on about that time last year too, but someone posted below that this has recently changed. So I guess we wait to hear from someone that has cruised in the last few weeks.

I sure hope they haven't changed this nice feature. I hate lugging a robe along on a cruise.

I'm not a Diamond member, I'm just a Platinum member but on my October 29th cruise with Freedom we received robes without asking of them, that was nice.
I'm sure that you get them by asking if they are not in the cabin already.

We were on the Jewel in January and there were robes in our stateroom when we arrived. I don't know if they were there because it was a jr. suite or because we are diamond.

We are Diamond members and when we asked why there were no robes in the cabin on boarding, we were told they woulde be delivered the next day.It seems the laundry from the cruise the week before wasn't finished. I imagine it varies from ship to ship.
