I will also be with you on this sailing with a friend. I went to Hawaii from Vancouver in Sept 2001. This will be my second time to Hawaii and my friend's first. I'm starting the search for excursions that she will enjoy and that I won't be repeating. I went to Volcanoes Nat. Park, Haleakala, and others I can't for the life of me remember just this moment. I think we will take a helicopter tour - a first for both of us. I can't decide whether to do this from Hilo or Kauai. I had firmly decided on Kauai until I started reading reports on the volcano. Now I'm leaning more to flying over the volcano.Anyone know if the ship will sail by the volcano between Hilo and Kona? I e-mailed Celebrity but haven't received a response.Only 78 more days!!
