Rome - B & B

Have checked out all the hotels in Rome that I can find on the Internet. Everything I like is well out of my budget for this trip. I really don't want to spend over $200 a night for a hotel that I won't be spending any time in at all. Just want a clean, safe place to sleep.

I think I have found some interesting Bed & Breakfasts near the Vatican that might just be perfect. It will cost between $100-$125 per night for the room with private bath and breakfast.

Has anyone had any experience with any B & B's in Rome:?

I have read the reviews and this seems like a good choice for us.

Thanks

There are a number of good B&bs in Roma. Would reccomend staying North of the city. Not near the train station. If you are hiring a car , check for parking. A garage can cost 20 to 30 euro a night. when will you be traveling, April 27 ??

We will be in Rome from September 13-16.

We will not be renting a car and will use train/bus and our feet to get around.

When you say stay "North" of the City, exactly what area do you mean:? How far would it be from the City center:?

I will check it out. Any suggestions for hotels or B & B in the North will be appreciated.

Try a web search for Abacus B&B Roma or Villa Chiara Roma. Close to the city but better than being in the city.
