Ahoy Matey and =welcome to cruise @ddicts.You didn't mention if you had an inside or ocean view. Personally I prefer an ocean view on Riviera Deck forward. I love to look out my window and see the bow wake coming from the ship below my window. Sometimes you get llucky and see dolphins swimming in the bow wake. That has happened to me a few times. The motion is a little less on the lower decks. If you are toward the front, If the ship drops anchor in any of the ports, you will likely hear the rattle of the anchor chain.
