Room assignment still not available?

Hi everyone!

My DH & I are going on the Miracle Nov. 13th. We have a Balc. Guar... booked thru a travel agent (that I am not particularly impressed with). On other threads, I saw that people were finding out 2-3 months before sailing- what their cabin assignment was.

We are 27 days away, and still no word. No documents either. Should I be concerned? Or patient?

I guess if I could actually get ahold of my TA or get her to respond to an email... I would feel better.

Someone please enlighten me? This is the 1st time we have booked a guarantee... I'm nervous!

Thanks!!!!

Dini

it is rare that people get assigned before 45 days. Some get assigned at 70 plus days (even rarer)

It depends on when you booked... I find people that booked long ago will get assigned before people who jsut booked within a few months of the cruise.

Carnival must set cabins 72 hours before sailing. Even if its set now--it could still change between now and the cruise. someone might want to pay bucks for that particualr cabin. You might not know until you get to the pier where you cabin is located.

Go to Carnival's website and click on " my reservation". Fill in the requested information and if your cabin has been assigned, it will pull up on the screen.

Thanks everyone for your "words of wisdom".

I knew I could count on you to ease my "fears".

I did decide that getting a guarantee isn't the best idea for me. This one is already a done deal... but from now on, I wanna KNOW where our room is. LOL! I will try to not let it drive me crazy. :) Maybe if I just think positive... ANY CABIN IS BETTER THAN STAYING HOME AND GOING TO WORK!!

Thanks again for the replys!
