Our ticket says we are on what I think is "E" deck. it says Cabin "E" then gives a room number in the 100's. Can anyone tell us exactly where this might be? Is there any chance we might get an upgrade?

Sounds like you are on the Empress deck. If you have been assigned a room number chances are you will not be upgraded but you never know.

Take a look at the deck plan for your ship in the Carnival brochure and you can see exactly where your cabin is on the Empress deck. If you don't have a brochure, they have deck plans on the Carnival website.

is it an even or an uneven number ?

if it is even you will be on the side of the ship that looks at the other boats , wont you ?? does anyone know this or does it depend on the port ???

Empress deck tho If it is in the 100's you are probably in the front of the boat and for ship talk IM sure someone knows if that is aft port or starboard or forward or backward or something ..

But have a good time , that is a good deck as you are right on the floor where stuff is ..

not just cabins

Yo! Tom,

Generally speaking, the E100's start mid-ship and run numerically aft. If you want "exactly", give me your ship & specific cabin #

.
