Im sure by now you're all tired of answering my questions, and Ive gotten so much info from you all , so thanks is given.. :)

We plan on ordering room service every morning for breakfast, the idea of sitting out on the balcony and enjoying it is heavenly for us. I know that people have told me it is customary to tip room service when you order. I know that room service is no additional charge, and that the tips are included in your 10 p/d p/p.. any thoughts or comments on this, to tip or not to tip, were not cheap but were not well off either, it has taken us 6 years to go on vacation again so every penny counts.

Thanks again for answering all of my questions.

Tips for the cabin steward and wait staff in the dining room are included in the daily tip charge, however, the room service personnel are not covered by these tips. I do the same as you with breakfast and we alway tip $2.

We also had a "pre" breakfast (coffe, danish, juice) while we were getting ready. Your right it was wonderful on the balcony. We always tipped $2.

Definitely tip. Even if it's just a couple bucks each time, it makes a difference.

One time on the Grand, we placed our room service order and waited 45 mins. for it. At that point, I called them again and asked what the status was. They had lost the order, sent another one in about 7 mins. A few hours later, a personal, hand-written note from the Room Service Supervisor apologizing for the mistake arrived with chocolate covered strawberries. I couldn't believe he had taken the time to write a note. It made such a difference to us!
