Has anyone cruised the Caribbean on Rhapsody of the Seas? How does it compare to other cruise ships?

We cruised on the Rhapsody in July 2002. We really enjoyed it, it was our first cruise. The main complaint we had was lousy service in the dining room, but I think it was just our section, everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their servers! We had 4 people, but 2 rooms, so there was plenty of space. I can't compare to another cruise line yet, because our second cruise begins in 3 1/2 days!!!! We are leaving on the Elation on 7/11. Will try to remember to post when we return!

We were on the Rhapsody doing Mexico a few years ago. We have been on seven cruises and that was one of the ships we enjoyed most.

We sailed the Rhapsody 2 years ago and enjoyed it very much. We have done the bigger ships and they are just that, but this doesnt make them better in my opinion. Also, the Captain was the most entertaining we have ever come across! What a comedian!

We sailed on the Rhapsody last year and are going again in September. It was our 6th cruise and the best so far. We have cruised Carnival, Premier, NCL and Commadore. RCCL has them all beat. We did not have any complaints. We loved the size of the ship....not too big ....it was nicelt appointed and extrememly clean. Food was good to very good and some was excellent! Service was excellent in all venues. The cabins are nice size and lots of storage. Our room steward was excellent....he even got us feather pillows! The Solarium is wonderful....glass from top to bottom and a retractable dome. The snack bar in the Solarium served hot dogs, burgers, pizza and taco fixings. Entertainment was good, the activities staff worked hard and kept the entertainment going throughout the day. Management and crew seem to have a good time and they sure make you feel like they enjoy having you there. If you have any specific questions I will try to answer them. We liked it so well we booked while still on the ship and even upgraded to a balcony!
