We will be hitting both Costa Maya and Belize on our cruise in May. We want to visit ruins at one or the other. Any suggestions on which ruins are best? Thanks for your help.
Either one in Belize are great. The one with the boat ride is mostly in the rain forrest, while the one that overlooks Guatamala is open, and easier to get around.2 hour bus trip////. Enjoy I have pictures if interested. chev29@verizon.net
We took David and Ivan's tour of Chacchoben in Costa Maya. We booked it from their Native Tours site. There were only 5 people in our group. We had an awesome tour guide, Eliu. It was a short trip in an air conditioned van from the port. They provided water, bug spray, and even stopped for fresh pineapple and gave it to us.
