We have been on the Ryndam a few times & have always had a wonderful time! How did you happen to choose this ship for your 1st cruise? Who are you traveling with?
Hubby & I just turned 50 (from PA) and are addicted to cruising. We have been to the Caribbean for all of our other cruises & this will be the 1st time to Alaska. Nervous about what clothes to pack.. We will also be on the week earlier (9/3) We are VERY excited about this vacation!
Maybe we can plan to meet onboard. ONLY (!@#!) 184 days till 9/10!....rocks

We actually went to a travel agent to plan this trip. I've wanted to go to Alaska for as long as I can remember, and I figured, if we're gonna go, we're gonna do it right. So, the agent suggested HAL's tours, and the cruise. We're doing tour 12 with the tour first, then the cruise. We just can't wait!
Since this is our first cruise, we have no clue what to pack... especially being September in Alaska. We're total jeans and t-shirt people (since my job is doing dog playgroups), and I know we'll need whole new wardrobes. Too bad I hate shopping!
My husband will be 32 when we go, and I'll be 29, so we'll be pretty young for that cruise, I suppose, but that's fine. We tend to get along better with people of higher age groups much better.
Look foreward to seeing ya there!
