Not sure about Majesty but the only RCCL ship I've been on that didn't have one (I've been on 6) was the old Viking Serenade.

Is there a safe on the Jewel. is it a punch in a code or is it passing of a credit card to open

Im 99% sure the only safes on the MJ are on decs 9 and 10(cuz thats what the Sovereign is like)..........you can get a safe deposit box at the Guest Realtions desk or just lock your stuff up in your suitcase.........
Not sure if its key code or card swipe since we rarely get a cabin on deck 9 or 10 for those short cruises...............

The safes on the Jewel have a keypad that lets you enter your own four digit code. Older ships that have safes usually are the type that require you to swipe a card with a magnetic strip to lock and unlock them. The Legend of the Seas has that type, but I think PH is correct and safes are not found in all staterooms on the Sovereign class ships.

t refurbishment. I just sailed on her and they did a beautiful job on her.
