Sail and Sign cards for teens...

I know everyone in our party has to have a sail and sign card. Does anyone know if it's possible for me to put a limit on the amount my teens can spend during the cruise? I want them to be able to purchase a couple of smoothies and have money for arcade/video games without them having complete access to my credit card. Any suggestions?

When using cash for your on board account they can shut it down once you have reached your limit so I am pretty sure they can put a limit on it for your teens.

Work out an agreement with your teens. How much per day they will be allowed. Extrapolate that out to cover the entire cruise. When you set up your account, do not put your kidlets on your sign & Sail card. Pay cash, in advance, for their accounts. When they blow through it (and they will) ... it's gone. They'll just have to live on water, iced tea, fruit juices, lemonade and milk ......

Thanks Calgon. I was hoping that I could limit their S & S cards. I didn't list them as being able to charge on our credit card. It is nice to know I can pay cash and it will be interesting to see how well they do on a budget. I had friends of mine tell me that when they took their last cruise their companions allowed their two teens the ability to charge on thier S & S cards. The parents were quite shocked that last morning when they received their bill (you should have heard the yelling). Evidently, the parents weren't aware how much the video/arcade games cost and the two teens had really racked up a bill.
