I just got back from cruise #2 alone. Everything was great, although there did not appear to be many single people on the cruise this time. I guess time of year, etc. However my dinner mates were very "interesting" characters on the first night. You truly never can tell what single person you will end up with lol! I'm in my mid 30's and was sitting at a table for 4. The first lady was 85 deaf and blind (we had to read the menu very loud to her) and the second was a gentleman that didn't change his clothes the whole trip, looked like a bum and drank directly from the coffee creamer dish. The GOOD NEWS is that the maitre d' moved them on night 2 upon my request...........the replacements were way better!!!!!The ship I was on had alot of smaller tables and I chose the first sitting. Probably not the best choice, but I hate eating at 9 pm.
